Microinnova in Hamburg: Pushing the boundaries of carbon capture, CO₂ conversion, and sustainable process engineering.

This week, the global process industry gathered at the Hamburg Messe for the Carbon Capture Technology World Expo, and Microinnova was participating in the conversation. Our Strategic Director, Dr. Dirk Kirschneck, attended the event to champion our core mission: driving industrial decarbonization through advanced process intensification and continuous manufacturing technologies.

Pushing the Boundaries of Carbon Capture

Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) are essential pillars for a low-carbon future. We are actively pushing the industry forward by turning captured carbon into tangible value. From our turnkey continuous pilot plants for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to synthetic e-fuels and gas-catalytic CO₂ conversion, our modular technologies transform captured emissions into valuable, market-ready resources.

The Carbon Capture Technology Expo, co-located with the Hydrogen Technology World Expo, is the ideal environment to demonstrate how continuous flow chemistry and “Plug & Produce” modular plant designs can make these sustainable processes more efficient, scalable, and economically viable for heavy industry.

Whether you are exploring continuous processing for synthetic fuels or looking to integrate modular automation into your next green chemistry project, we want to hear from you.

Let’s connect and engineer a sustainable future together.
