Continuous Gas Catalytic Reaction

Modular Pilot Plants for Fuel and Solvent Production

Microinnova has successfully developed and implemented continuous manufacturing solutions for a continuous gas catalytic reaction, focusing on the production of fuels and solvents. These projects use input materials such as syngas, synthetic gas mixtures, and biomass-derived products. Typical reactions include water-gas-shift, methanol synthesis, and Fischer-Tropsch processes, incorporating essential operations like gas compression, condensation, and evaporation.

Our approach involves the use of both commercial catalysts and proprietary catalysts prepared through a wash-coat procedure in the microchannels of reactor plates. By applying our expertise in process development, engineering, and plant construction, we leverage continuous manufacturing and process intensification techniques to deliver efficient, reliable solutions.

The gas catalytic reaction plants are designed as skid-based modules housed within a container environment. This setup allows for the pilot plant to be easily transported and tested on-site with original raw materials. The modular design provides flexibility, enabling quick adaptations to different testing scenarios. Additionally, the plants can be equipped with modular automation tools such as the Module Type Package (MTP) protocol and integrated with Process Analytical Technology (PAT) for real-time monitoring and control.

Microinnova’s innovative solutions in continuous manufacturing for gas catalytic reactions offer enhanced flexibility, efficiency, and adaptability, empowering clients to achieve their production goals with greater precision and sustainability.
